Momentum Paradox

Hi,

It's Dakota.

Got an insight for you that will be useful in business. Seems paradoxical but it's really not.

I enjoy exercising as a hobby. Train 3x a week with at home and workout for 20 minute intervals of sets at every session.

I exercise best when I'm moving forward. Only time I ever hit my PR is when I'm aggressively moving forward.

Downside of this is that's also when I get tired the most. So I take a few second rest position to push a few more reps.

Momentum kills. Pressure kills. If you're moving forward all the time a lot of worries just melt away. Problems seem to solve themselves. You're blasting hard and you have no time to fret about small stuff.

My most annoying business problems always hit me when I was standing still or slowly losing ground. As soon as momentum turns against you it just gets worse.

This is why we keep moving forward. Test new things. Try out new ads, new methods, new media, new sales ideas, new marketing, new everything.

Do. Not. Move. Backwards.

Talk soon,

Dakota
